The so-called HSB is a high-power microorganism as in the English acronym, which means High Solution Bacteria (HSB). Microorganism can be seen as a small factory of enzymes production (to produce their own enzymes), HSB bacteria consume organic pollutant in water, through a series of reactions and decomposition, the organic pollutant is broken down into CO2, water and harmless small molecules that will not impact the water quality. The use of many different HSB bacteria decompounded different pollutants in the same processing tank to form a special HSB decomposition chain.
HSB microorganism, which is the specific acclimation and enhanced, its main features are as follows:
- Non-toxic, non-pathogenic and will not cause secondary pollution.
- Simple equipment, low cost, low failure rate.
- It takes much shorter time to run the trial to successful results.
- With rapid ability to decrease COD, SS, BOD (15 ~ 35kg /m3d COD, BOD decomposition capacity is tripple the traditional technology).
- With remarkable deodorizing effect, high ability to eliminate NH3, P, H2S and organic acids.
- Powerful elimination of nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur: N (nitrogen) removal rate of more than 85%, P (phosphorus) removal rate more than 90%, S (sulfur) removal was 90 % or more.
- Can integrate activated charcoal and HSB bacteria into the initial oil-water separation process, to strenghten oil and water separation effect.Produce less sludge after treatment (removal of BOD per kg sludge about 0.05 kg, 90% off).
- Can directly eliminate color from sewage, such as dyeing wastewater or other difficult color removing sewage.
- Can easily handle high concentrations of NH3 and SO42- wastewater.
